LILY OF THE FASSETT - truth be told I stalked this cardigan coat for a good 10 minutes before I plucked up the courage to sidle over and inquire about it. Of course I was intrigued about its Kaffe Fassett-ness and I could tell it was machine knit to a high spec, with beautifully done edging. I'm so glad I asked because it meant I got to meet Lily, the maker and wearer of said #knit. It's been a long time since I've met a machine knitter of such prowess. This is indeed a #kaffefassett pattern, which she has converted to #machineknit. This is only one of the versions she's made for herself. There's one in this spring's colours too. And she #knits all manner of other things too. After posing for this picture she generously asked if I wanted to take a picture of the back to, to which I replied with honesty that I'd already taken a good picture or two before introducing myself. She took that as the compliment it was meant to be. Knitters rock!!! #sweaterspotting
Dream Sunday 💓🌸🇬🇧 we used to go to Columbia Road about once a month but then we discovered one of the market guys now sells at a market town near us which is much closer to get my flower fix so we stopped going up to London on a Sunday. But I forgot just how amazing it is there. And I missed these pink doors! #ihavethisthingwithpink#columbiaroadflowermarket#happiness
