"So I knew that the majority of my characterization was going to come through little looks and nuances and through song and dance. And, that was a little daunting at first . . . [but] I had to nail this character. There's no time to go into her backstory or backflash. So that was one of the biggest challenges just to nail her — her flamboyance, her desperation to keep her celebrity-dom, her success, and then the rise and fall of Velma in a way" —Catherine Zeta-Jones
And she did nail it and won her first Oscar for her role as Velma Kelly in the musical Chicago, 2002.

Title: Alien (1979) Review: So the theater in my location was showing old movies on the big screen and alien was one of them. I've seen it before on DVD so I was curious what it would be like on a big screen. The experience was great; I never thought I would see it in theaters. Anyway yeah this movie was great. The pacing was good. The story and story telling was wonderful. The acting was pretty good and of course the alien was phenomenal. I love how this films sets up such a horrifying and suspenseful atmosphere. The set designs are terrific. I mean "Alien" is the best science fiction movie like ever. Some people may complain that's it's too slow and I can see where they are coming from, but I don't really mind it - I find it fits well and builds a lot of atmosphere. For complaints with the movie I do have some. Some things in this world are kinda weird and doesn't really make sense. For example: why is there a self destruct option on the ship, why does the escape ship Ripley gets on at the end have the option to shoot gas, and stuff like that. Other than that this film is a terrific sci-fi/horror movie that has stood the test of time. I will rate it a 8.7/10. -
👆Lee Strasberg (aka Hyman Roth aka Meyer Lansky) is considered the Greatest teacher in the 'Art of Acting' ..Pupils such as Sidney Poitier. Marlon Brando, Paul Newman & Al Pacino are just among the few...Many other greats under his wing too long to mention here.
