I've always believed that IG is an extremely helpful tool to achieve whatever goal you set for yourself. How? It's a tangible way to track progress and to help stay accountable for your actions. Also, it's harder to screw up and back out of things when people are watching 😅
Recently, I've been giving out info with regards to nutrition and fitness (viewable in my highlights) which you may find helpful but honestly, I feel like it's not enough. Learning about new ideas and concepts through theory is perfectly fine, but reinforcing theory with practical application is even better 👍🏼
For this reason, I'm officially leaving the "Lifestyle" part of my fitness journey (for now) and entering prep mode 👊🏼 "So you're gonna start cutting?" No. I have 14 weeks left of my bulk but bulking was always harder for me than cutting. It's my way of keeping myself accountable to bulk effectively.
I hope y'all will stick around for this part of my fitness journey 👌🏼Last time I prepped was 2015 so not gonna lie, I'm pretty damn nervous 😅 With this prep, I'm hoping you guys can pick up a thing or two and I can't wait to show you guys __________________________

Here’s another crazy thing that has happened in my life: I have a cycling team to ride and train with now! Ever since I started cycling, I never really had friends to ride with, and ever since I got a taste of racing last year in the Kickstand Classic, I wanted so much more.
I met @markayala_ at my buddies birthday party @kevin.reodica (who by the way is an AMAZING photog), and he introduced me to his team.
Little did I know this team took me in with the warmest welcome I have ever had and invited me out to their Malibu training camp...needless to say I had an incredible time with and am super excited to be a new member to @intentcyclingteam. .
@coachschopp & @coachsedor organized an amazing trip and honestly are amazing friends, but more importantly incredible leaders. I am incredibly grateful for having them take me under their wing and am so grateful to be a part of INTENT cycling team.

It’s both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply! I will admit I just had what’s turning into my weekly cry scrolling through my Instagram feed seeing all the activists photos of animals about to be slaughtered - just so someone can have some bacon at breakfast or a steak for dinner. Mum told me to “stop following it then” and that to me is what’s wrong with this world. The whole “ignorance is bliss” creates a huge disconnect and I genuinely think that if most people saw the whole process or had to grow and care for the animals themselves and kill them, to know exactly how that steak got on their plate - they would choose differently !
The thing that gets me is that it’s been proven that animals like cows and pigs are as intelligent, if not more so than a 3 year old human. Yet if we were sending this amount 3 year olds to be slaughtered everyday there would be outcry. Just my opinion and some food for thought.

Chocolate Fudge Cake w/Cacao-Cream Cheeze filling by @vegaliciously 💗
•2 1/2 cups white flour
•5 tbsp coconut flakes
•1 3/4 cups brown unrefined sugar (or coconut sugar)
•1 tbsp vanilla sugar
•3/4 cup cacao powder
•1/2 cup chocolate chips
•1 tsp baking powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•A pinch of salt
•1 cup coconut oil
•2 cups almond milk
•2 tbsp distilled white vinegar
INGREDIENTS FOR THE CREAM:
•250g soy butter
•280g almond cream cheese (or soy cream cheese)
•3/4 cup icing sugar (or more if needed)
•1 tbsp vanilla sugar
•2/3 cup cacao powder
INGREDIENTS FOR THE SYRUP:
•100g dark chocolate (over 70% cacao)
•1 tbsp coconut oil
1. preheat the oven to 160C/300F.
2. Cover a 9-inch cake pan with baking sheet.
3. In a bowl pour all the dry ingredients, in another one prepare the wet ingredients.
4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and process with a handmixer until combined.
5. Divide the mixture in 2 parts and pour the cake batter into the prepared pans.
6. Bake for 50 minutes at 160C/300F.
7. Turn the cake upside down and let it cool down.
8. for the cream put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until creamy and perfectly combined.
9. Once the cakes are cold, cut them in the half, set a cake layer over a platter, moist with 1/3 cup almond milk and spread 2-3 tbsp of the cream on top.
10. for the chocolate topping melt the chocolate and coconut oil and whisk until combined. Using a spoon let the syrup fall over the border of the cake.
11. Let the cake sit in the fridge for 6 hours before serving. 12. ENJOY!
