I have visited Milan for the first time about 5 years ago and experience then wasnt quite what I expected. To me it seemed like a big shopping mall with boutiques everywhere and not much to do for a person who likes exploring outdoors. But this time Milan opened itself to me from a different perspective mostly thanks to @townhousegalleria who kindly hosted us 😍 We spent our days exploring rooftops around, eating delicious pizzas with liminocello and just photoshooting every single corner of our room that I will show you later.

Annecy! It wasn't exactly like I expected! Somehow I thought it was more like a 'village' size, so I was a bit surprised about the city that we arrived in! The beautiful streets that everyone take photos of are BEAUTIFUL, but it is only really a few streets big. So because Annecy didn't meet my exceptions of Annecy in my head, it felt like a bit of a let down.
Have you ever felt let down by a destination because you thought it would be so much bigger and so much more impressive than what it really is?
ps. I still LOVE Annecy, but you really don't need to many nights here :)
