Highly nutritious pre prepared puppy milk is on hand should a puppy need supplementary feeding.
In this instance I’m giving some to Womble. Pups doing great and certainly not needing it.
Day 7! And puppies are thriving, so no more weighing needed; visual observations for weight gain now.
One week of age is a turning point for a breeder...these guys are no set for life (which still means regular checks of course).
Mum is doing such a good job that we super focus on her condition; so hand feed her high fat nutritious food at least four times a day.
Plus, in Womble’s case I have decided to start 20ml of calcium syrup per day (x2 10ml) to keep milk fever (hypocalcaemia) at bay.
6.30am and three little ones it is and mum and babies are doing wonderfully.
Dave’s time for sleep.
