So this is me Kelly, I'm not sure many of you are aware my fiance and I independently run the Vintage Tearoom. As much as its located in the courtyard of the Blithbury Reindeer Lodge we are a seperate small business... With having lots of new vistors and followers over the past few months, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to share with you a bit about me and my background.. With having a passion for sewing and appreciating how much love it can bring to someone, 4 years ago I decided to create those special hand sewn gifts for all occasions to add that extra thoughtful loving touch. Turning a hobby into a full time job,not only do I make handmade gifts, I also stock a range of gorgeous vintage inspired home décor items adding that lovely touch to make your house a home. #threadalittlelove.
My dreams didnt stop there, my love for vintage and pretties just kept growing and made me realise i wanted more... A vintage tearoom, the perfect set up for everything to all come together and support other small businesses.
2016 this happened and I opened #blithburyvintagetearoom my second home. 😍
Dreams can come true I have to keep pinching myself... This is down to you all supporting me ~ Thank you 😘😘😘 Please keep spreading the word about the Vintage Tearoom.
Its not as easy as it seems though but this is what makes me and will make the chapters of my story which i will be sharing with you on my blog which can be found on my website www.threadalittlelove.co.uk

Qotd: Do you love fairytales?? If so, which are your favorites??
I do love fairytales, (Beauty and the Beast is my favorite), and I love a good fairytale retelling as well! Retellings have come a long way in the past few years, and I love reading a new spin on an old story. 😊 I just added *The Traitor Prince*, the third book in the Ravenspire series by C.J. Redwine, to my collection recently, and I can’t wait to read it! It is a retelling of the Arabian tale *The False Prince*, and I’m super curious to check it out. 🤓 What are some of your favorite retellings??
We’ve officially made it halfway through the week! How’s it treating you so far?? I managed to spend most of yesterday getting caught up on blog things, which was nice, and I plan to spend most of today doing the same. 😊 What are your plans for today??

“Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.”
I’m sure you’ve heard of color psychology. They say color can affect your mood. Do you have a color that agitates or somehow unsettles you? If i imagine myself sitting in a small, empty room with painted walls, the 2 colors that come to mind that would make me uncomfortable are bright red and dark olive green. I can confirm that pastels.... at least for me... evoke a sense of calm and peace... even when those pastels happen to be on a mission of destruction (you know what I speak of if you watch our stories) 🐥😈🤦🏻♀️🙄

St. Jacob’s Chapel
When you go down the Sljeme road from the mountain hut Grafičar towards Zagreb, you will pass by the Veliki Plazur top, where the St. Jacob’s Chapel is located. This neo-gothic chapel was built in 1847 in a place of a much older wooden chapel which had been destroyed in a fire. The old chapel was dedicated to St. Barbara who was considered the patron saint of miners all over Europe in the Middle Ages. This small prayer chapel was frequently visited by miners from the Zrinski mine who prayed to the patron every day in fear of mine collapse, flood or fire.
