SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS
Something I love to do, is spending my money where it counts. I hate the idea of always going the cheapest route, because I’m a king, and I have the responsibility and privilege to steward my money as a gift, and honestly, kings aren’t penny pinchers. They always have enough and they live with that idea in mind. Please don’t get me wrong and think I’m condoning the idea for financial irresponsibility. Im in the process of setting me and my family up for a future of abundance, but if I don’t act like a king, with little, I certainly won’t act like a king, with lots.
There are businesses in each of our areas making bank. Everyone loves to go to them because they’re cheaper; I get it, I’ve gone to them, but more likely then not, I will go out of my way and pay more money at a small local business. One example I can give you, is in Elkhart, Indiana, there’s a video rental store called: Video Visions; I probably pass 6 different RedBoxes on my way to this store. A rental is Two bucks as opposed to the $1.65 at RedBox. Why do I spend more and go way out of my way? Because I love the fact that first off, I’m not controlled by that extra 35 cents. Second off, there are people trying to make a living, sticking their necks out there and pushing the limits to attempt at reaching that elusive American dream; my money will be there to support their dreams. RedBox is already rich, give the other guy a shot at bat. I understand capitalism and competition; RedBox had the better idea, so they’re going to win, it’s how our society works, and I love that, but I’m an old soul; ill be rooting for the little guy forever.
If you’re in the Elkhart area, Think about going to Video Visions instead of RedBox. Go to the small, family-owned grocery store instead of Walmart. Spend your money, where it actually counts for the person standing behind the counter. Live with intention.

Congrats to Anna for getting her yoga teaching certification 😘😘 she gave us a fantastic lesson at our @hipcamp this weekend!
This is my first of several shots I’ll be posting from Iceland. ⠀
I visited Iceland for the first time last year, during its winter season. I’m not yet sure if I prefer a visit in the summer. The limited sun light really limited our time, but the limited tourists also made the “hot spots” more enjoyable.⠀
The first shot is a top down drone shot of the ice glaciers about to exit for the ocean.
