I’ve been working out for just about a decade now. It started as something to try as I was always undersized and small growing up and wanted to do something about it. I’ve gained a lot of muscle over the years but more importantly I’ve gained a better understanding of myself through all the days and hours spent inside the gym. When it snows we get outside!! Kids have been excited to finally see the snow fall. Hopefully there will be lots to play in over Christmas break! I am more of a fall season girl but I love watching them have so much fun!

My idea of interacting with the community vs what the media chooses to show... .
If you swipe left you'll see a clip from a video that was tweeted out last week by a police department in New York in attempt to relate to and comfort the community they serve. It was plastered in a negative light all over the news papers, social media and other media outlets. It was mocked at put down every way possible. .
The first picture is something I did on my own time. I wasn't allowed to do it on job time. I'm not allowed to represent my department in any capacity. I used a "vacation" day to make it happen. I got to personally interact with a group of kids in the south Bronx that could easily have a horrible perception of cops based on the anti cop narrative that's played out over the last eight years or so, but they wanted to meet me. In fact, their teacher reached out to me and brought it to my attention. I was there within the next couple days answering questions and talking to the kids about the importance of fitness and self discipline which will be used in many other aspects of life. .
Building relationships with people.... That's what it's about. I don't want any notoriety, or a pat on the back. In fact ill probably get just the opposite for this post. I just want things to be done the right way. .

It’s to the point where I feel like when I do go outside I HAVE to dress with tiered sleeve shirts, leather pants, and 5” heels. It’s called balance✋.
Yaya finally leg day! This wiped me a bit but it was the good kind of hard. I was SO hangry when I got home 🙈.
My bestie usually comes over and trains with me Wednesdays but apparently she has a life or something 🤷🏼♀️ and couldn't come today so leg day it was! Is it sad that I get excited to train legs? 🤔😁
