Forgive. Forget. And Move On.
Like all of us, I have been betrayed by people I trusted the most. Hurt and pain has come from places I never thought I'll have to eventually shut doors to. Friends who were once like family, are complete strangers today. People I wished only the best for, are no longer a part of my wish list today. I have lost faith and hope at some point in my life. But there's always going to be a blessing in disguise and we could only notice it if we let the anguish, the anger, the frustration, the disbelief, the hurt take a back seat and let positive emotions to drive us. #Forgiveness is one such powerful emotion and tool. And from this day on, I will try all the more harder to opt the better course because I deserve peace and the choice is mine to make. I choose me over dropping on things which no longer matter now. #totd#forgive#godblessyou
@Regranned from @michelle_marie512 - A repost from months ago I needed to share. For anyone who needs it.
Quote is not mine. Do not lose who you are in Christ trying to conform, or become like everyone else. If pleasing people does not please God, and you have to compromise your values, or standards, or step out of your character the choices you are making will have negative consequences. Often you think it's OK just this one time it can't hurt to try. But the truth is anything that causes you to second guess is wrong. If you question it, doubt it, feel guilty about it, and later regret it it was wrong. Now I am in no way perfect. No one can ever make that claim. But when something I do, or am about to do affects my relationship with God, making me act, or do something out of my character it either teaches me something about myself that has not changed, or allows me to recognize a weakness that I need God's help with. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes. But what helps us to grow, and change is acknowledging them, and not accepting them as OK, or normal. When you see the truth about yourself, and you realize how you can be better that is maturity, and it creates an opportunity for God to transform your life. Amen. Your life is a gift. Be blessed. I send you love.

Forgiveness is so key in your life. I hope that you will forgive easier. It's not forgetting or putting you or someone else back in the same situation. Use wisdom but we must must must have more grace. We all fall short and we must judge less and try to understand that everyone falls and everyone is dealing with something. As we go into Thanksgiving week 🦃 let's forgive especially family and friends and come together to celebrate God's goodness and light. Forgiving is giving up the hope that the past could have been any different and trusting God that He truly is working ALL things together for our good. #forgiveness#forgive#grace#broken#sad#hurting#love#coffee
