“Can we go home yet?” - someone was happy to be checking out Skookumchuck rapids 🌊 in the snow this weekend. OK, OK this may be a slight misrepresentation but it was wet and it was cod but luckily we weren’t too far from the warmth of the car this time 🌨
It’s such a vicious cycle.....we exercise and eat clean for awhile, try to maintain it but end up falling off the wagon, beating ourselves up for it then we start again. Sound familiar?! I was the QUEEN of this and I still struggle with it! We need the tools, tips and accountability to maintain that lifestyle while still enjoying those indulgences from time to time. Sound good?! Sometimes ya just crave pizza and you'll do whatever you can to get some. Even if there's no tomato. Or grain. Or cheese. 😂😆
I made a plantain crust (2 green plantains + a little shy of 1/4C coconut oil + Italian seasoning and salt to taste. Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes). Then topped it with "nomato sauce" (a la A Clean Plate) and some of my favorite toppings (Brussels sprouts, onion, olives and pulled pork)!
