My last day in Niseko was fittingly spent strapped into handmade Niseko planks, shredding with Monika and her handmade Niseko board. We got down the mountain at 430pm to the beginnings of the biggest storm of the winter, which was biting and roaring at full force by the time I hit the slippery road to Furano. Niseko woke to one of the deepest days ever for some people and Furano woke to ice. Different worlds! Training day 1 completed, spent mostly indoors on rescue techniques. Had to get in a quick five miles after training to clear my headspace again. Amped to get outside on the mountain tomorrow! Ps. My writeup on winter running is now live on the @experienceniseko site! //❄️🌬️

So what I failed to mention in the last few rock climbing Chemex posts is that after all the effort to get the Chemex up there....I forgot Chemex filters 😒 🤦♂️. It’s the story of my life.
So we improvised. Ground coarse, brought the ratio down to 1:12, and brewed for 4 min in the Jetboil before gently decanting through the strainer side of the lid. Essentially “cowboy coffee”. And Jared still said it was his favourite yet. Made a super sweet cup with surprisingly little sediment.
Take me back to Gili T 🏝🏝 Crystal clear waters, blue skies, sandy beaches and palm trees (of course)... what more could you ask for.
Looking to add some more amazing beaches to my bucket list. Any suggestions?
Already got my sights set on Philippines and the Mentawai Islands but looking for a few hidden gems 🌞🌞.

Hi guys, @adamfirman here with the last post of my takeover! This photo was taken on a road trip earlier this year through California where one of the first stops we made was to a very wet and windy Point Reyes National Seashore. This sight revealed itself to us whilst a local seabird swooped ovehead. Huge thanks for all of your kind words and support during my takeover. Feel free to 🌎 check out my account @adamfirman. Cheers!

This picture was taken last year this time on a trip to the Oregon coast. ❣️ It kind of feels like yesterday but also a lifetime ago. This year has just flown by! 😀 I hope to get back there soon. 📷 @braedin

When I first heard about Mount Assiniboine, I was pretty confident that I would never actually see it with my own eyes because of how deep in the backwoods this place is. Thanks to @tannerwendellstewart’s ingenuity, we were able to visit Mount Assiniboine for sunrise and still make it to Tim Hortons before breakfast hours were over.
