Taking a small break from full on food reviews for festive events! We were at Glow Christmas market in Langley and pleasantly surprised!
There are food trucks when you first enter, we went to Fat Duck and got a Dirty Rice Bowl ($9) with pork belly (+$1.50). This was a warm dish basically consisting of coleslaw, rice, scallions, an egg, duck confit, and the pork belly. The duck confit was moist and generous, pork belly (only one slice boohoo) was crispy outside and juicy inside. The rice and other stuff were lacklustre and I would've preferred if it were a hot dish.
We also got the Meat-zza ($10) from Urban Wood Fired Pizzas. This was a disappointment for such a long wait and the price. They used a pita bread base and very basic pizza. Hot and fresh though!
Finally (not pictured), we got Mini donuts ($12 for a bucket)! These were so fresh and crispy!! Delicious, but kinda expensive for the amount of donuts you get :( Overall, Glow was well organized and a wonderful way to kick off the festivities! The signs to get there weren't lit up, so it WAS little hard to navigate there. Also, parking is in a gravel lot a bunch of pot holes, free though! 😁

We went way back into the archives for this one!! An early test of NASA's Orion spacecraft aimed at gathering aerodynamic data on the spacecraft's Crew Module activity during entry, but late in the entry, from just before parachute deployment starts thru drogue chutes. That small wind tunnel test article has over 100 gauges on it to measure surface pressure, and aero forces and moments. The data was/is part of how our engineers determined the stability of the capsule, and the data from this testing was combined with the data obtained from parachute drop tests in Yuma. Next drop test is coming up soon -- stay tuned! This testing occurred at NASA's National Transonic Facility at Langley Research Center in Virginia.

Check out this fierce bridal party! 💥I did a poll a little while back that ended up being almost 50/50 for more candid couples or wedding day moments. I’ve been trying to share a good mix of the two since then. Now I want to know - what is your favourite moment of a wedding?
