This was taken during one of Beirut's infamous daily power cuts. The part on the right is how things looked in real life. The part on the left I got by taking a shot at a 30sec long exposure (photo is also slightly edited to look sharper). It's magnificent how light sensitive cameras/lenses can be.
You can see the girl's rugby team huddled up waiting for the backup generator to start up. Initially I was aiming to get a couple of long exposure shots with people moving (which I actually ended up getting! Spectre people and zapping car lights can be seen on the road behind the field). Then suddenly the power went out...I kept on snapping!
