Delicate Arch - The reward after a long, cold, icy, snowy, and sometimes dangerous hike up and around a mesa.

Winter desert vibes.
Though I was shocked to see a foot of snow on the desert floor in Moab, Utah...I was really digging the texture shots! The clouds almost seamlessly blended into the snow, only rocks giving you any valid perception of where the horizon actually was.
Taken in Arches National Park on December 23rd.
An indescribable sense of solitude while trail running in Moab during the winter. Found a perfect overlook to gawk at the last rays of light hitting the La Sal Mountains before headed back to the car by headlamp. December 26, 2017 | 26.4 miles 🌵❄️
While we were in the Southwest last month, we met up with good friends Rich and Patrice who spent a few days in Moab with us. Having been there before, they were excellent tour guides. We hiked out to Delicate Arch on the early side one morning before it got too busy, but upon arrival found it a bit crowded for our liking. We saw this ledge from across the way (where all of the other people are) and carefully hiked out to get away from the crowds and get a different view. It was worth every heart-pounding step. Thankfully, the sandstone is SUPER grippy on most shoes and we were able to walk on rock faces that were nearly vertical in spots. What you can't see in the photo is that they're all sitting on a ledge with a several thousand foot drop below. #moab#arches#nationalparks#nature#canon#sandstone#utah#travel#swipeleft#hiking#danger@cristalballin

Putting energy into the slackline lately and getting ready for some cool projects this summer. Pm me if your coming through Moab and want to slackline 🐒🌵
This is our other large print at 13 by 19. It's a paper from MOAB called Metallic Pearl that is reflective and has amazing colors, detail and contrast. Really cool stuff. #moab#fineartprints#captainamerica
