Boats and Ho... Umm, HOT! ⛵️(or what did you think? 🤔).
We sailed from Rio de Janeiro to this remote island off the coast of Rio called Ilha Grande. My friends @alegria_vidaabordo live full-time on this sailboat with their lil daughter, Maria 👧🏽. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Brazil to not only check out this island, but do a charter sailing with them on ”Alegria” (Happiness)! .
A fun, and very impressive, fact about this family is that little Maria learned how to swim by herself in the ocean when she was only 3 years old (without floaties 😱). Check out their profile and give them some love if you feel like!:)
A família Alegria faz charters! .
Um fato divertido sobre esta família, e muito impressionante por sinal, é que a pequena Maria aprendeu a nadar sozinha no oceano quando tinha apenas 3 anos de idade. Olhem o perfil deles se vocês se interessarem!:) .

The iconic Stonehenge. We applied and were accepted into the sunrise circle entry tour where one is permitted right in and around the megaliths. It is definitely worthwhile as a normal tour allows you only about 50m away. The morning was flat and grey and there wasn’t much of a ‘sunrise’ photographically but I’ve been able to rescue a little colour here in Photoshop :)
The rainy weather today is reminding me a lot of Iceland.. boy do I miss it! I took a bunch of photoa of buildings in landscapes while I was roaming around so I think I'm going to slowly share them with y'all.
These beautiful turf houses are the historic site of the old farmhouse known as "Sel" located in the skaftafell region of Vatnajökull National Park. These are essentially bermed buildings on a hillside where a farm used to be. Eruptions of a few nearby volcanos over the centuries continually wiped out farmlands and eventually consequential flooding permanently left the area un-farmable. 🐏
Love that every little stroll in #Amsterdam turns into a history lesson! This building called the ‘Bushuis’ was built in 1606 and functioned as the city’s armoury, until the #Dutch East India Company moved in a few years later. The last renovation to this building was in 1920, which makes even the renovations a century old! 😲
“Well, I know now. I know a little more how much a simple thing like a snowfall can mean to a person."
I love the snow but I can't stand the cold. I still get excited watching the snow fall. ❄
Any snow lovers out there?
They filmed some of the latest Star Wars on Malin Head here in Ireland. This is maybe one of my favourite beaches. Partly because it’s a place of incredible beauty, but a big part was that we were the only ones there! That doesn’t happen often with places like this, I have no doubt it will be discovered soon. #ireland#wildatlanticway
