I'm saying farewell to Tromsø today, and heading back south after a wonderful week at home with friends and family. I never miss home more than I do when I'm here, and the visit always feels too short every time I have to say goodbye, but luckily it's not long until I'm coming back again.
I didn't do any photoshoots while I was here, since the conditions weren't the best (hard-packed, almost icy snow), but I did have fun trying northern lights photography for the first time! It will still be snowy when I return to Tromsø for Easter break, so I might be able to do it then, but if not there is always next year.
Which brings me over to the next topic: I've decided to take a social media "break" for a couple of weeks. I have an exam coming up and I need to put some work into it, and I also just want to relax and not worry about social media. I've gotten the habit of checking my phone way too often, and I want to try to go without it for a while. I'll still check in every now and then, but not as actively as usual!
