What is your favorite lens? I think mine is the 135mm. I had one when using canon, and absolutely loved it! Luckily the Fujifilm 90mm has the same magic! 📸
It might not be the most versatile, but it sure show things in a different perspective.
Last night we were driving through eastern California, I was at the wheel, when something popped in the van and all the lights came on the dashboard. Everything locked up and I thought for sure this was the death of the #oatswagen. Geoff calmly had me coast the van up on to a off-ramp (in the pitch black) and went to work sorting out the issue. After quick diagnosis of “fuel line rupture,” @geoff_thornton did a minor surgery and got things up and running in no less than 20 minutes. No triple A, no call to our Volkswagen mechanic, and the only casualty is his new winter coat getting gasoline all over it. Owning a van can be emotional sometimes but Geoff’s skills never freaking ceases to amaze me.
Despite all the drama, it feels so good to be out adventuring with my love and our sweet little pup.

Dramatic skies make for interesting patches of light and insane looking landscapes. This guy found himself in the middle of one of these patches 🐎🐴🏔

The last week was spent road tripping through Sequoia, Yosemite, Point Reyes, San Francisco, Big Sur, and the rest of the California coast. I started photography over 3 years ago, and I feel like this was the first time I’ve successfully captured the state I call home. I’m beyond excited to share all of the final images with you guys 😍 we live in such a beautiful place!
