Rest day! I don't think I could lift today even if I wanted to- my muscle soreness is huge today. Everything everywhere hurts, but I love it 😁😁
Have to go buy some more BioFreeze today but that's the extent of my errands, otherwise it's nothing but studying for my Pharmacy tech exam, getting my workouts for this week ready, food prep, and reading and committing to memory the rules of my powerlifting federation.
Oh, and icing and BioFreezing my entire body 😂😂 The aches and pains definitely intensify as I get older, and even though I don't feel 45, my body reminds me I'm not 25 any more. But I'm going to powerlift as long as I draw breath. I love it that much ❤
I chose to use this picture from yesterday again as a reminder to myself that I failed nothing. I tried to squat 225 lbs and couldn't do it. But I immediately dropped weight to 185 and did 3 to remind myself that I will stand back up every damn time I'm knocked down. I was afraid to squat any more after the failed attempt because I feared it getting in my head that I failed. It's another thing I'm working on- It's never a failure if you try. I'm feeling excited for the next leg day to work hard and get stronger. Not a bit of pressure, no tears, no coming down on myself or beating myself up. None of that horseshit. Just excitement to get in and get better ❤

I'm currently running a 10 day rotation with my deadlifts ✅ There are 3 deadlift sessions within those 10 days before a rotation 💪 The sessions include: - Heavy Session at 85-95% (5-10 lifts) - Volume Session at 75-85% (20-25 lifts) - Technical Session at 65-75% (12-18 lifts)
