We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we are hosting Jeremy Jensen, one of the godfathers of binding free powdersurfing, founder of Grassroots Powdersurfing, star of two Warren Miller Ski movies, and Utah native, for a FREE evening of powdersurf talk. This gathering of the ohana, or family, is Friday, March 9th at the Park City Municipal Athletic Center classroom at 6:00 p.m. Hear Jeremy’s journey, and learn the ins and outs of surfing mountains from the man himself. We will watch some film, share some stories, ask questions, look at the latest and greatest board shapes, talk about what makes a great powdersurfing board, and meet other local powsurfers. Join us as we bring together and build our community. (If we tagged you in this post that’s because we think you might love surfing pow and want to be there, also any help spreading the word is much appreciated!) Friday night is free to join but we ask that you RSVP as we will limit attendance based upon the fire code for the room. Please email us at [email protected] if you would like to join us.
Saturday morning March 10th, there will be a free group surf for those who have their own gear and mid day we are offering a lesson session with Jeremy. Cost is $50 per person and includes equipment. Space is limited.
