#tbt still (for a minute here) of a hill near my home after the #tubbsfire in October- I’ve been so sad and shocked by the post #thomasfire mudslides in #montecito the last few days. This photo of families supporting their little kids’ soccer games in a park directly beneath the fire-blackened hillside is an example of resiliency. It’s the ability to bounce back after a traumatic crisis such as a fire or mudslide. Some folks who have experienced fewer traumas, and/or had emotional support as a child and teen are able to figuratively pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get back to #thenewnormal . Others who have suffered neglect and abuse, childhood trauma without adult support, or severe trauma may take longer to feel ready to move forward again. While I loved seeing this example of resiliency, I know there are many hurting who aren’t able to yet. Loving thoughts and prayers and self compassion and loving kindness for wherever you are on your journey. 🙏🏻 #prayersforusall#prayersformontecito#prayersforsonomacounty#prayersforhouston#prayersforpuertorico#trauma#traumarecovery
🇵🇸🕊 P E A C E 🕊🇮🇱 _
This picture was taken in the garden of Gethsemane, the site in Jerusalem recognized as the place where Jesus prayed the night before his crucifixion. The place he experienced the Agony - where he sweat blood from the anxiety of what would be done to him and wept at what had become of the world. At the wickedness blinding the hearts of men who would kill him for insisting that they love and care for each other. At the lack of justice in his government and in his religious institutions. At their blatant abuses of power and disregard for the poor.

My heart has been so heavy these past few days thinking of Jerusalem. Of the faces I met, the stories, I heard, the people who love and care for their neighbors as best they can despite being caught in a never ending political chess match. I am not try to over simplify the situation or say I have seen it all or that I have a solution. But the world around me is literally on fire tonight and I am praying for peace.

After the incident of us getting caught by reverend Parris, Betty has become ill and will not wake. We were dancing in the woods but I fear tituba has ruined us all with her “witchcraft”! Betty did move today only to scream and believe she can fly right out a window. People are beginning to show up and question our actions we have no where to turn. I am frightened for us all, may God be with us😇 #shecan’tfly #titubaisawitch#prayersforusall#authurmilleract1-Abigail (Holly) •
I caught my daughter and her friends dancing in the woods with our slave Tituba. I am furious. How could my own slave and family try to ruin my name like this. I asked Abigail but she claims she knows nothing about witchcraft or spirits or anything in that nature. But now my daughter won’t wake up and I have all this attention on me. Teenagers and slaves can be so stupid. I need to keep my reputation safe no matter what happens.🤭 #NotMyReputation#WitchesGetStitches#AurthurMillerAct1pg. (Fitz)
I can't sleep. So much on my mind. I saw this a few months back when I was working out (when I was still making an effort) and I have to say it came to mind now because I feel like it shows what we need to be striving towards...unity and equality and just an overall concern for the life of others. 45 is iniating divisive rhetoric, prompting nuclear responses, ignoring Puerto Rico and then when he bothers to acknowledge them he throws paper towels at hurricane victims like it is a game and then compares tragedies as a means of diminishing the need in Puerto Rico. Mass shootings in vegas while our government does nothing in terms of regulating. Let me be fair they are not doing enough. Then the U.S. is voting against removing homosexuality as crime worthy of the death penalty...meaning the U.S. decided that their UN vote should support the death of people for their sexuality! What world is this? This is not a game. This is real life. Real Human Life.
I have to be love rules out.
"Let us stand in our Loving" ✨🙏🏻✨
Burning a candle. Saying a prayer. Seeing our world and ALL of Her people wrapped in the Light. Deeply inspired by the compassionate and resonant message from Ron and Mary Hulnick/// "This morning we became aware of the mass shooting in Las Vegas last night and reminded ourselves that the best thing we can all do is place our Love and Light with all those involved for the Highest Good of all concerned. It is important to recognize that this “placing in the Light” is, in fact, the single most powerful positive response we can possibly make, for that Light is what dispels the negative energy involved in the incident.
In our humanness, we may experience fear, sorrow, grief, despair, etc., and concern having to do with safety and security. These emotions are part of our human process. We can acknowledge them, experience them, and release them, as they are not part of our Essential Nature.
If we allow ourselves to respond with negative energies such as anger, resentment, etc., what we are effectively doing is adding our energy to the very thing we say we are opposed to.
We are reminded of the wise words of Spiritual teacher Ram Dass’s teacher when he shared that, “The only emotion left in a totally realized Being is infinite, unbearable compassion.”
It is “infinite” in that it seems so totally beyond anything that any human being can possibly extend to another human being who has engaged in such behavior.
It is “unbearable” in that acts of violence seem so outrageously insane that our hearts break open and all we want to do is cry.
And it is an opportunity to embrace and embody “compassion” as we see all the suffering, and yet, at the same time, to resist the temptation to curse those who appear to be the cause of the suffering, for we realize that by so doing, we add to the negativity and suffering we are witnessing. What we choose instead to do is to be able to “be with” the ones who are suffering while not “judging” the perpetrators or the situation.
Let us stand in our Loving."
Las Vegas is my home and I am beyond devastated. My thoughts and prayers with all those affected by this senseless act of terror. #Prayersforvegas#Prayersforusall

Smh.. Anybody else think once @realdonaldtrump took office that nothing but one bad thing after another keeps happening? Issa sign maybe? The kind of toxic a person holds will spread like wildfire... Prayers for all us all. Cause I can't say if any of us will be here with him in office the next 3 years.. Definitely a lesson to be careful who you pick to lead you all because the other person is a woman.. What you judged you got even worst.. #Mythoughts but best believe I'm calm, cool, & collective with whatever happens because I am covered..thats what peace & understanding from God will have you like #PrayersforVegas#prayersforusall#prayersforallthingsthathavetakenplace
Bowlegged Lou/Full Force>I thank my brother Paul Anthony for getting me involved in such a great initiative with former New York Jets football player Walter Briggs and the Hands & Hearts That Care Initiative.884 422-3574 Www.handsandheartsthatcare.com. I be that CAREGIVER so it's so natural for me to want to be a part. We should all be that too. Let's look in on our loved ones & take nothing for granted. Lets check on our loved ones while they are on earth....Just Because. Let's be there for each other as family & friend. Let's don't wait for a situation or an occasion to check on any loved ones with our thoughtfulness & care. With just the same amount of fervor & diligence it takes to be on & in your cellphone, textin, being on computer & social media while putting priority in YO business....you can take out 5 minutes to make a loved one that you aint been checkin for a minute...YO business too. You truly don't always know what somebody could be going through as well without the communication. Don't wait for anybody to reach out to you, you just reach out to them. Some of us walk around with smiles just to hide the frowns. We must always remember our loved ones in Heaven as well! Carry them in our hearts. #Memories#PrayersForUsAll#IBeThatCaregiver#DontTakeItForGranted#Family
Her current mood is 😍. How long can I keep it that way? Such heartbreak in the news. Send your kid to a concert and never see them alive again? Why? WHY?!?! Prayers up. 😥 #prayersformanchester#prayersforusall
