Being back in the Netherlands made me realise again how privileged we are. In India every day I see people living on the streets. I see children without hope and without a future. The air pollution is life-threatening and there are so many health issues because of bad hygiene. And here life is so good. We have fresh air, clean water and an amazing healthcare system. We have more than enough food and endless oppurtunities. Let's not forget that this isn't something normal - we are just blessed we are born in this part of the world.
Welcome to Times Square! 🌃🚕🚧🚗🚦It’s not truly a visit to New York without a trip to see the lights of the city & what better way than right smack in the middle of it all. 🚦✨🚦🌟🚦✨🚦I love exploring places at night! 🌜🌚🌛It’s like you’ve visited two cities when you get to discover a place during the day then explore the night culture. ☀️🌤⛅️🌙🌝 New York does night culture better than most big cities... it never sleeps! 🎷🎭🎼🎳🗽🎆 I love that about nyc... when I was living in Glasgow everything seemed to close at 7pm (unless it was Thursday night shopping!) 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ LA also has its neighborhoods that stay up later but NYC beats them all with its night owl characteristics! 🦉 💃🏼🕺🏼 If you tuned into my insta stories yesterday you’d know I set up a poll asking my followers: “are you a day or night person?” Surprisingly it was very close to a split up until the end...but 58% of you picked “day person!” I’d say I’m not a morning person but love waking up early if there’s something cool to do so I can have the rest of the day to myself! I’ve always been a night owl but things are switching slowly for me (writing this at 1am btw 😂👌🏽) 📍Q: So I’m curious Instagram fam... where’s the best night city you’ve ever been to? 💁🏼♀️🌠🌃🌌 From open restaurants to events to nightlife! Leave it in the comments as I’d love to know! Thanks all! 📸: @thelovelyescapist
