Min resa. Ny riktning, nytt kapitel. På måndag bär det av igen. #journeyoflife#livetsresa#powerofnow#kvinnligaäventyrare#southamerica#loveforlife#traveller#mindfulness
John and I are back from 5 days spent in Torres del Paine National Park where we hiked The W, one of its famous trails. As a hiker with a lot less experience than John and many of the friends we made on the trail, the journey was certainly intense and tough at times. Ultimately though, the experience was very rewarding and worthwhile and I'm glad to have made it. This place is definitely one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Here's the view from Refugio Torre Centro where we stayed the first night in the park.
"The Rock of Guatape is considered one of the most amazing views in Colombia. The Rock is simply an hour and a half trip away from the second largest city in Colombia Medellin. Standing at over 2,135 meters above sea level the rock is a mixture of quartz, feldspar, and mica. A zig-zag staircase pinballs down through a crack which allows tourists to step up to the mystical view. After climbing 740 steps visitors get to experience a legendary 360 degree view of the preserved colonial town of Guatape. It is definitely the experience of a lifetime and an experience you do not want to miss.
There are a few views in the world that shock you in such a way, that you simply can't find the words to describe them. This is one of them." @carooox430 .
While entering Valparaiso we were a little on edge because we heard that foreign vehicles are targets for tire slashing. We were ready though and Laughlin had her pepper spray in hand! Once we safely made it to a secure car park we were able to enjoy this unique city. We rode one of the elevators that that connects resident living in the hills to the city below. Touring the residential areas was a great experience and we saw tons of street art. Although a little dodgy, we enjoyed our visit. #Valparaiso#chile#southamerica#travel#seetheworld#explore#ducknotes
Although I adore traveling to new places, there is something about going back to a place time and time again, when you can peel back the many layers, witness the change of seasons, and discover those little things that make a spot so special.
Would love to know: what’s your favorite place to keep discovering? #optoutside#wildernessculture#patagonia
