Today was the first rainy day of all the days I have spent in London this year so far. That reminded me of one of my favourite quotes, I once read at a Tube station somewhere around London: Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine! ☀️
These photos are taken at one of the most christmassy looking ice rinks in London - the one at the NHM. ⛸
Tower Bridge has been around since 1894 and is one of London’s most iconic landmarks (not to be confused with London Bridge which is far smaller and .5 mi. down the River Thames)! In the distance you can see some of the more striking modern buildings including the Gherkin, the Leadenhall Building, and 20 Fenchurch aka “the Walkie-Talkie” building. 🏙🇬🇧 [BretClancy.Etsy.com]
First time at @honestburgers and I have to say it was pretty tasty. Ordered the Honest: beef, bacon, cheese, onion relish, pickles cucumber and rosemary salted hand cut chips. And washed it all down with a local IPA.

I’ve spent the past five days in Germany, including an afternoon in this amazing gallery. More photos to follow. #mmk#mmkfrankfurt
It’s been so cold in London the last few days, with the rain and cloudy weather🌧.
I tried and tried, but just can’t let autumn leave my feed, not just yet!😆 I’m desperate to get out there and take some photos of those beautiful Christmas decorations I keep seeing on Instagram.
Rain, will you please go away?

And we just walked and our shadows followed. We had nowhere to go but we didn’t want to go anywhere either; we had each other and home was nowhere and everywhere.
Even our shadows smiled. Have you ever seen anything like that since?
But that was then.
And time flies when your heart is broken; and now we are older, but none the wiser. The sun no longer follows us and we became our own shadows, albeit without the smiles.
But this isn’t a blame game, love knows no right or wrong, except that was the biggest lie they wanted us to believe.
We were the best at the game of love but we were great in smashing love into tiny invisible pieces.
So now we sit in the darkness blaming no one, but believing a new lie; that somewhere out there love is waiting to forgive our mistakes. - A London minute
