I don’t know about you, but weekend mornings for me are spent taking a moment to just be present with myself and my nourish breakfast bowls. Sweet potatoes, avocado, roasted mushroom and kale.. basically all the nutrient filled natural Whole Foods to fuel my body 🙌I’ve got healthy carbs from the potatoes and a healthy source of fat from the avo (pair it with an egg for extra protein!) .
Take a moment to just be present and mindful of your surroundings, even if it’s only one or two days a week 🙏

How to make:
•combine salad greens in a bowl
•hard boil eggs for 7 minutes
•microwave bacon for 3-4 minutes
•chop up tomatoes, onion, bacon, slice eggs in half and add to salad along with dressing

Trying to pump up the greens and eat less grains. Staying motivated is really hard when just getting through the day is a mighty task. Trying to focus on the simplest ways to fill my life with veggie color including protein shake blends with greens and frozen berries and juicing turmeric ginger lemon carrot and spinach. Easy is the key here because energy is super low. Let me know if you have the key to the simplest veggie eatings :D meal plans for sick people what I'm looking for! After fasting for 2 *Whole* Days (2 days is a lot for me *beginner fast-er + I ♥️ food, lol), I broke my fast with a raw vegan meal. I had fresh romaine lettuce, colorful peppers, avocado, guacamole, red onions, and a tall glass of water.
The next day for dinner, (this was a little while ago) I had home made vegetable broth, courtesy of my husband.
Fasting helped me to feel lighter and helped me to refresh my palate and desire fresher, whole (unprocessed) foods.
If you're struggling on a fast, get through it, you can do it. Your next meal is going to be so much more delicious if you just put in the hard work!

In the midst of trying to save up for a new place, I’ve put a hold on my “fun foods” and have been eating a ton more REAL foods. Win/win! I found some baby zucchini (seriously how freaking cute are they?!) and purple brussel sprouts at @traderjoes, added some organic carrots from @fredmeyerstores which is also where I reload my @fishpeople_seafood fish kit stash. My poor mother! I’m taking over the fridge but I’m sharing my leftovers with her and she is STOKED. She’s been asking me to make her some cod using these kits and that just makes me so happy?! Chickpea Pasta with Easiest Kale Avocado Pesto Sauce ever! It’s vegan, nut-free, oil-free, and garlic-free, for those of you with sensitive tummies!
To make it yourself, just blend together the following ingredients:
4 basil leaves
1/4 cup kale
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
Juice of 1 lemon

make it: a bed of @organicgirl arugula dressed with @primalkitchenfoods ranch dressing, boiled beets, roasted butternut squash, ✌🏻boiled 7-min pasture-raised eggs, avocado, mini bell peppers sautéed in a cast-iron skillet with avocado oil and looots of hemp seeds💯

Thanks to @wholefoodsnyc, I did a thing. A very delicious, low sugar, surprisingly health beneficial, and shockingly veggie packed thing. I made a dessert you don't have to feel badly about eating seconds off: a spicy salty chocolate mousse. Not only does it pack a nice kick and salty bite, but it also feeds your sweet tooth. To make, follow these simple steps: in a food processor, combine 1 avocado, 1 scoop @bulletproof collagen peptides, 1/2 of a @hukitchen chocolate bar (melted down in the microwave with coconut oil), 1 spoonful cacao powder, 1 spoonful @mikeshothoney, and a splash of almond milk. Blend until forms a smooth consistency, spoon into a serving dish, and top with fresh sea salt flakes. Enjoy! (Yes, it takes all of 5 minutes). #sponsored
